Marty, have you looked at the 1880 census to see where the two brothers say their parents were born? That fact would be of some help in sorting out just who they belong to. Were you able to find the two boys with their parents in the 1860 MO census? Did you look at the 1850 Jerseyville area census to see if there were Coopers in that area? From the brother's ages, do obituaries give names of other siblings? or different names for parents? Mary wrote about....
