I don't think this is my Cooper line. My Abraham (Abram) was b. 1851 and was married to Hagae. They did have a son named John b. 1877 in North Carolina. I have no idea who he married, I haven't been able to find a record of him again until 1910 when he was living back in the home with Abraham and Hagae and his three children Frank, Lawnie and Nell. I'm not even sure this is the right Abraham because now he is listed as Abe and the age is off. You know how these census records are. My Cooper line didn't move to VA until 1920 when Abraham nephew (my great-grandfather Andy) was living Ervington, Dickinson, VA. Our family reunion is actually held in St. Paul. I'm not sure why we ended up in VA from NC since the family had lived there since at least 1880. I'll keep my eyes open for your John as I'm looking.
