    3. I have a William B. Cooper, born abt 1788 Madison Co., KY, died on the Oregon Trail in 1848. He was married to Susan B. Higgins. They had 10 children. Susan and William joined a wagon train to Oregon. The exact year is not known but various dates of 1848-1851 are given. William died of consumption while crossing the plains and was buried there. Their daughter Nancy and her husband Benjamin Simpson had gone to Oregon in 1846. Benjamin Simpson had been the Captain of the wagon train. Susan married a second time to Elias Majors. I have several other Cooper family lines. Anyone in particular you are looking for? . Dan M <[email protected]> wrote: I am looking for Cooper people of Oregon with Oregon trail decendants.
