Last night on 5/2 PBS in Houston the Frontline feature was the Thomas Jefferson-Sally Hemmings Story. I only caught the last few minutes which included a lady whose COOPER family was living as white, that had discovered other members of the COOPER family that lived as black. I don't know if they were saying there was a tie from COOPER to Sally Hemmings or if this COOPER family was just an example of how this has happened in the United States. Does anyone know anything further on these COOPER relatives or a COOPER-JEFFERSON/HEMMINGS connection?
