Good Evening, Thank you for your reply. I am not researching Moses and James at this time. It was just something I came across in "The Pollison Family" as being among the early settlers in Morris Co., N. J. It stated that the lands bordered the Sussex line and was called the Holland Mountain,. That the Pollison were from early Holland Dutch familites and were closely connected by intermarriages to the Monrsons. Descending down through the Mowersons there was an Abraham (twin who was born in Sept. of 1824 and he married Julia Stockm an. One of Abraham's sisters was Emeline born in July of 1828 and she married Moses Cooper. Now, this is earlier than any of my direct line records so don't know if this is my line or not. If you would like, I will copy what else is written and send on to you. In the mean time, if you ome across a Horace (S.) Cooper of Morris Co., N. J. born @ 1804, would you PLEASE let me know. I do not have any information what-so-ever on his parents nor siblings. He did marry Eunice Van Buskirk daughter of Capt. John and Elizabeth Maxwell according to the book of John Littell "First settlers of the Passaic Valley" That is all that I have on Horace S. Cooper other than his children and some of their descendants. I am willing to share what I have but it isn't much.
