Hello List, I sent away for ... and recieved a WPA marriage license. It was issued 16 September 1878 for SOLOMON H. WYATT and MATILDA F. COOPER. There are no ages, father,mother. Only the Clerk of the Miami Circuit Court and the minister of M.E.Church in Miami County, Indiana. Am I missing something or is there another marriage license I should be sending for in order to obtain father/mother's names? Thank you so much, Jeanne

That info appears on the marriage license application. I am not sure what years the application data began. I have some apps with that data for early 1900's for Jasper Co. IN. Jeanne, I have a Matilida Cooper from Indiana. She was born in 1829 and we thought she was an "old maid" but perhaps married at an older age. Do you know anything else about your Matilda?
