Elizabeth COOPER married David Spartan HOLDER; they are bur. at PORTER's Chapel Methodist Church, Pickens Co., SC. Elizabeth COOPER was b. 11/18/1869 and died in 1958. She was known to us as "Big Mama" when we were children, even though she was a small woman! She was my great-great aunt, but was also the great-grandmother of a close cousin. [I find my lines often cross each other several times!] Does anyone know who Elizabeth COOPER HOLDER's parents were? I have a COOPER line in Spartanburg Co., but do not have any idea if this line ties in with the other COOPER line. The Spartanburg line is also another David (COOPER, not HOLDER) and his wife, Elizabeth WILDER (1726-1792). They lived on Thickety Creek in Spartanburg Co., SC. hello, I have a David Cooper and wife Elizabeth..their daughter Orpha married my Daniel Amos. Spartanburg, SC...could this be the same line as yours..
