HI Gerre Here is my mystery Joshua Cooper. Joshua M. (possibly Marsden)Cooper married a Mary Smith. They in turn has a daughter in Staten Island NY in 1846 by the name of Hester C. who married a Henry A. D. Freeman in Manhatten in 1867. As of yet I have been unable to find Joshua and Mary in any census. This is from the marriage records to be found for Manhattan NY in LDS family search. Joshua would be my 5th grt grandfather.
