Sharon Schwartz, I have been reading your William Cooper emails with interest. I am stuck with the father of Lycurgus Cooper, born 1809 in PA. Lycurgus was married to Martha Cooper, supposedly cousins. Lycurgus father was William Cooper, birthdate unknown, married to Mary Polly, marriage date unknown. Lycurgus lists birthplace of William as New Jersey, and on 2nd marriage certificate, his mothers maiden name as Boon. Lycurgus also has a brother named William. We have the will of William Senior, but no help on additional information. William is buried in Ohio.
