Rose, Thank you we know John was born in Nottingham, Chester County PA and his father and mother were born in Nottingham, Chester County, PA. I wish I had more to go on. I am assuming he retired from Dupont. Is there still a Dye works in Deepwater, NJ I have thought about contacting them but I am not sure where to write too. He may have been single or his wife died because in 1942 on his draft registration he was 59 years old and gave Laura Holmes as his point of contact and we do not know who she is or if she fits into the family.
