Hello, I am looking for the families of Cooper that was in McNairy, TN. I feel lead to beleive our William D. Cooper is related to these Cooper lines of McNairy Co., TN. This man married Susan T. Bishop and had one children by the name of John James Cooper who would have been named after both grandfathers. John Bishop and James Cooper. The name has been past on to my Father James Cooper too as first and middle names. So if anyone is of this line please share. I did find a William Cooper on the same Census of 1840 with James Cooper who would have been the right age of for William father. Our line of Cooper traveled with the Bishop families to Hempstead Co., Arksansas and Susan was a widow by 1850. We are looking for the grave of William or a death date. Rose
