    1. Re: [COOPER] Coopers of Pultneyville
    2. Hello I am searching for John Cooper b. 1835 possibly NY or Mass. then spent childhood in NY. The family moved to Zanesville, Muskingum County, Ohio. John Cooper married Mary Morgan b. 1835 in Ohio and had 4 children. I believe he survived the civil war but died shortly after. Do you have a John Cooper in your line? I recall early in my research a town named Brockport, NY. Is that at all near Poultney, NY? I am having difficulty locating my John Cooper 100% before 1860 census and not at all after. After several generations in Ohio my Grandfather moved the family to NY. I always thought it might be because we has relatives here but the reason might have actually been because of the railroad. ---- Pauline Harper <perils@earthlink.net> wrote: > Hi, I am sorry.
