    1. Re: [COOPER] COOPER Family Photograph
    2. Hello Shelly! While my research is most definitely COOPER related my journey has taken me to the Zanesville, Ohio area where my ancestors lived in about the same time period as your photo; not to Pennsylvania. My most recent search is for my gr gr gr Grandfather, John Cooper b. 1835 in Massachusetts, moved to New York and then onto the Zanesville, Bearfield, and Roseville area in Muskingum County, Ohio. I'm almost positive your photo doesn't belong in my branch of the Coopers. However the name Moore caught my eye. It was my gr gr Grandmother's maiden name. Ohio though , not Pennsylvania. Your photo does sound like a marvelous find and I hope you do have luck in finding out where it belongs. It would be a shame for a treasure like that to get lost again. Have a great day! Donna Cooper Bickert Buffalo, NY PS If you hear of a John Cooper out there with no place to go please direct him here. I've been searching for him for a long time. lol. ---- Shelley Cardiel <cardiels@comcast.net> wrote: > I've "rescued" an old photograph identified as Alice & Allred COOPER which > was taken at the J. 3. FYI: 1773 West Augusta District was created by VA, part of which came from Pennsylvania. 1776 Ohio County created out of West Augusta District VA. 1781 Washington created from Westmoreland Connecticut (from part of Litchfield in PA).
