I don't think so Nancy. My John Cooper line is from Ohio and New York and He was was born in Massachusetts. At least that's what we've beeen assuming. He was last enaumerated in the 1860 census in zanesville, Ohio. Then he was in the civil war. Haven't been able to locate any later records so I'm assuming he didn't survive. I'm looking for a burial record or something that would definately pin down his birth place. The date was 1835.
