I, too, am researching the coopers of Pultneyville, NY. Thomas Cooper, wf Mary purchased land ab 1814, listed in tax records of 1817, gave land to children of his deceased son Peter Cooper, wf Amie Conk, who were married in 1801 in Monmouth County, NJ. I believe the Joseph listed in the 1810 census was washed overboard in an accident in the Oswego Harbor in 1816, according to a newspaper clipping I found. I have massive amounts of info, and my cousin Ken did the dna test for the Cooper line, but we have no connections yet. Descendents of Thomas sold land to another Cooper in Williamson for the Quaker building, but did not refer to him as cousin, brother, etc..All this from memory, but I missed a lot of the postings because I have been traveling. One of the children of the Thomas Cooper line was a Maurice. Other names are Cottrell, Conk, Harrison, (Harris), Waite, Alsop, Lewis, Grandin. Let me get out my files....
