Check-out the Cooper's in Washington and Tyrrell Counties. Lots and lots with the same names as Cooper's in Alabama, Louisiana. My grandfather had a brother, Webster, who moved from NC to Louisiana where he was a dentist. I've been working on Cooper's that are in the late 1700's to early 1800's in North Carolina so the details of where Webster lived in LA aren't fresh but I do have other information. All the Cooper's in the two counties in NC that I mentioned, they all inter-married so, not only do you have first names repeated but lots of times, the same. Ugh ! All those counties in the Eastern part of NC along the Pamlico and Albemarle Sounds, have a ton of Cooper's if anyone is looking in North Carolina. Margaret **************Start the year off right.
