John McCutchie Cooper (ca 1816-1852) married Permelia Ann Denson (ca 1817-1880) in Walton County, GA in 1838, and they came to Bienville Parish, LA about 1846. Their children were: Susan Catherine Cooper b. ca 1839 in GA, married Jesse Bagley. Malinda Caroline Cooper b. 1841 in GA, married Casamiro "Cass" Telles. William Joseph Cooper b. 1842 in GA, married Louisa E. Godfrey. James Green Cooper b. 1846 in GA, married Sophire Alice Hamilton. John Hilyar Cooper b. 1849 in LA, d. 1866 in Monroe, LA.
