Gini & Rick, I have a Phillip/Philip Henry Cooper born in NY in 1813. I've been trying to figure out if this same family could be his. Phillip was my gg-grandfather and was 1/4 Oneida Indian. Do either of you know of any Native American link in this family? The Wynantskill Reformed Church in Wynantskill, Rensselaeer Co., New York shows the following children for Henry Cooper & Elizabeth Shaver: Annatje Cooper b. 23 Sept 1799, bapt. 20 Oct 1799 Coenraed Cooper b. 2 Dec 1801, bapt. 1801 Christian Cooper b. 19 Dec 1803, bapt. 1803 Martin Cooper b. 16 Mar 1806, bapt. 26 May 1806 William Cooper b. 27 Jun 1808, bapt. 28 Aug 1808 Philip Henry Cooper 13 Feb 1813, bapt. 4 Apr 1813 Hiram Cooper b. 1 Mar 1815, bapt. 21 May 1815 Hiram Cooper b. 13 Apr 1818, bapt. 7 Jun 1818 My Phillip Henry Cooper married Elizabeth Boyles in 1850. They left NY between 1851 & 1854 with one or two children and settled in Jackson Township, Hardin Co., Ohio. By 1880, they had moved to Kansas and had 11 children.
