    1. [COOPER-L] Josiah Randolph Cooper
    2. William C. Duyck
    3. I am trying to track down Josiah Randolph Cooper born c.1841 in GA based on the 1850 census. He is the son of Andrew J. and Pamela Cooper, who are first found on Walker Co. in 1840. In 1850 and 1860 the family is in Gordon Co., in 1870 in Floyd, and in 1880 in Polk. Josiah's oldest daughter is married in 1888, but I have not found any records after the 1880 census for Josiah or Andrew. In 1880 Josiah was unemployed and divorced with two daughters and Andrew's wife Pamela was apparently already dead. There is a J. R. Cooper in the Cooper Cemetery in Gordon County, who was born 18 Mar 1837. Along with him are Henry and Elizabeth Cooper who were born in 1802(an age which could make them his parents) and the family of Buford and Lula Cooper, born 1877 and 1875, respectively (the ages which could make them children). Does anyone know these Coopers and have information on this J. R.? It would help me confirm or eliminate him as my disappearing Josiah Randolph. Thanks in advance for any help. Gene Ann
