Bill; My Cooper ancestors are as follows: We believe our 5grt grd father was Hans Dubbendorfer Kuffer b. in Switzerland in 1701. {not yet proven}Left Switzerland in 1734. George Kuffer/Cooper my 4 grt grd father B23 Jan in Switzerland {we believe this is correct but unable to prove it yet} George son was John Cooper b. MD in 1768 M. Mary Magdalenea Rinehart John son Jacob was my gggrdfather was b. 1799 in Va now WVA. His son James Ellis Cooper my grt grd father was b. in WVA in 1833. came to KANSAS IN @ 1868. My grd father was Edwin Rinehart Cooper b. 1872 in Kansas. I am not of the same line as George Frederick Cooper either. From George on down we know is correct. We have documented proof. George other sons were Adam & Christian. John had sons other than Jacob & they were Samuel & Solomon. Jacob had son other than James Ellis and they were Evan Park, Asa & Lycurgus. James Ellis had sons other than Edwin and they were Herbert & Donald. If any of this fits let me know and if U need any more info let me know.
