I have found a Harrison with a wife Mary in area 1860 and have been trying to determine if it is my gggf with a first wife or another individual and if he connects to my line.     3. William Cooper married Mary Polly Harrison, he served in the Rev. War died in Union Co., SC early 1800's. Is this Harrison Cooper connected to this line ?     3. Gary, my Harrison Cooper was son of John Cooper b 1812 NC and Sarah Osborne Cooper b 1810 KY, I do not know parents of John. Earlier research done by some aunts who have passed on have Johns bp as Guilford Co. I have rcd some internet help that his father may have been a David Cooper. I have no documentation on ggggf John Cooper other than his marriage and children. Not all childrens data doc'd, most of it is. John and Sarahs ch were: 1.William b 1833 OH, 3 wive, 18 ch 2.Harrison b 1836 OH, mrd Margaret Stephenson(Stevenson) 12 ch 3.Jane Cooper Platt, 6-7 ch 4.George M. who also served civil war, 9ch 5.John W., 7ch 6. Sarah Cooper McCleary 5 ch 7. Emily Cooper Guss 12 ch 8.
