Do you know what the A. L. stands for. My father name was A. L. Cooper, Sr and my brother was A. L. Cooper, Jr. I have traced them back to a William Cooper but don't know anything other than their name, except there is some indication that they may have lived in Michigan at one time or at least went through Michigan to somewhere else.
