    3. Dear Researchers of the COOPER Surname, Isaac Cooper MESSER was born 25 Jan 1842, in Smythe County, Virginia; and died 6 Apr 1923, in Greenup County, Kentucky. He was buried in Kehoe Cemetery, Greenup County. In the community of Kehoe, the COOPER surname was prominent, due to the settlement of Eli COOPER there in 1824. Isaac Cooper MESSER's name suggests a connection to COOPERs, combined with his place of interment, located as it was in a community abundantly represented by COOPERs. I am looking forward to corresponding with (and I thank in advance) any researchers who have a bit more information on Isaac Cooper MESSER, especially his namesake, one theoretical Isaac COOPER. Thanks Again, Randal W. Cooper

    3. Hi Randal, I have a Eli Cooper , son of Jacob Cooper of Spartanburg Dist. SC. He was in a family with birth spans from abt 1790 to 1811. I don't know where Eli fit in the birth order. His dad Jacob was the son of William Cooper born in Bucks PA. Could your Eli be my Eli?
