Hi, I am directly related to Newton C. Cooper who served as a private in Company D, 16th NC Infantry, War Between the States. There are FOUR Coopers who served in Company D, 16th. Can anyone tell me how these are related? The other Coopers in the 16th are: Newton C. Cooper, private, enlisted 3/18/62 and survived the war. William L. Cooper, 2nd Corporal, died 9/2/61. Reuben A.
