Ben; Yes, Bakersfield is my husband's home town, not mine. But we have been here since 1991. It is hotter than blue blazes in the summer and nice in the winter. My ex mother-in-law is unable to furnish much of anything and a terrible memory to boot! Her name is Josephine Leona (Hampton) Cooper. No longer Cooper, now Matthews. She does not seem to know anything about Lee Sr. family at all. She even said that she never met his parents, just one sister. Interesting! Then when they divorced she did not see any of them ever again, including Lee Sr. The only document I received from her was Lee Jr.'s birth certificate. Since Lee Sr. was 21 at Lee Jr.'s birth and they only stayed married another year, I am sure he went on to marry down the line and may have even had more children. Just do not have that information.
