Anyone on this list researching the Coopers who lived on the Beekman Pantent? I have a copy of the Cooper part of the book but he does not carry the lines far enough down to include the ones that I am looking for. I see hints that they are related to the ones he is talking about in the book but need someone who has done more research on them. It appears that they descend out of Lewis Cooper but the aurthor shows very lttle about him and so I am stumped as to what to do now. Looking for parents of Charles Cooper who married Lucinda Popple. He has a son Oliver Lewis. His first son is named Theron. Anyone know where this unusal name came from? Thanks to anyone who can help? Glee
I have no idea, sorry to say. At this point, I know most of them are in IN 1820: Clark, Dubois, & Floyd IF I've picked up the right ones. I'm pretty sure about Daniel. Hello All, Looking for any info on John <M> COOPER, b. 12 May 1832, <Southern State? probably any state south of the Mason-Dixon line, perhaps KY?>, d. 11 Nov 1918, Weiser, Washington Co., Idaho. He was married to Letitia or Latitia RUTHERFORD, b. 26 Dec. 1831, <Northeastern State? NY or NE?>, d. 27 Sept. 1906, Weiser, Idaho. For some reason I have a notion they might have met up in Ohio, just a hunch though. Any information about these two ancestors of mine would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Ian Cooper
