I don't have much. MOst of what I have is in tghe book "The First Settlers of Passaic Valley" by John Littell. There are other Coopers mentioned in it but it only states that my Horace Cooper married Eunice Van Buskirk. No names of Horace's parents etc. However, as soon as I have access to my records, will send you what the book has to say if you are not able to find the book. Please stay in touch. Hi Beth I am looking for Coopers could you send me what you have in NJ. Thanks so much. Zelma of CT Zeand@aol.com
Good Evening, My genealogical address book is still packed and I have no idea where it is in storage. If you will get on the Bethell family site on GenForm and ask for his address or for his nephews address and then just wait, his nephew should get back with you. If you are not able to get it that way, will hopefully be home in a couple of months and should be unpacking (rather the kids will for me) then. In N. J., I am searaching for information on a Horace S. Cooper born @ 1805 perhaps in Basking Ridge, N. J. He was probably married to Eunice Phoebe Van Buskirk some where in N. J. @ 1830 - 35. We have no other records for them in N. J. Hi Folks, I am looking for Mrs. Wm. Cooper in Me. about 1830 or so. Her father also whom I have no information about is William Mitchell. She had a sister Caroline born in 1833. Most of Machiasport records were destroyed by fire so I'm having a hard time finding information about my lines. I realize it's not much to go on but any help is certainly appreciated. Thanks much, Warren Cole

In that same book you will find that Elizabeth Maxwell daughter of Capt. John Maxwell and Eunice Howell married Horace Cooper. We do know that they were married @ 1835 and were in La Grange Co., Ind. by 1840 as they were in that census. Do you perhaps have any information pertaining to Horace S. Cooper. Good Morning, There is an Art Bethell that lives near Porteau that is very good at family history. He is not of my Cooper family line but he might do some look ups for you. I am very much interested in the N. J. Cooper family because that is where I loose my Horace S. Cooper who was born there @ 1805 and married there @ 1830 to Eunice Pheobe Van Buskirk. However, I do not believe at this time that hey had a son alhough we did believe for sometime that they did have.
