I only have one child born to William and Polly (Towns).William and Polly were in the 1840 censusfor Pope Co. Son William Henry served in Confederate Army from Texas. He settled in Sabine Co TX. Nancy, Here is the family I'm working on. All the offspring listed here seem to have been born in PA, we think Bucks or Montgomery Co. We believe they are closely linked with the Kenderdines, Croasdales, Cadwalladers, and Yarnalls, for obvious reasons. Cadwallader Cooper named two of his sons Spencer and Kenderdine! To Dorothy who is working in IL. I have a William Cooper in Pope Co IL in 1833. He married Polly Towns that year. Mentioned in Randell Towns will. Son William Henry born in 1841. William Henry's mother, her sister and husband Horatio Rose probably went to TX about 1853. We lose track of William but have descendents of W.H. in Texas. William may have died in IL. I am ggggranddaughter to Mildred Cooper who was born 8 Apr. 1793/83 in Milledgeville, Baldwin Co., GA. She married Jacob Elrod in Orleans, Orleans Co, IN. Their daughter Caroline Elrod moved from Indiana to Missouri then on to Weatherford, TX. where both she and her husband died. Marion Riley FOX, son of Caroline and her husband Riley FOX moved to an area around Altus Oklahoma...then on to FT. Smith and died in Spiro, LeFlore Co., Oklahoma. I can't help but wonder if there is a connection with your COOPER line. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get farther back than Mildred and even with the wonderful technology we now have, no one seems to be able to connect Mildred into their lineage. DANIEL COOPER was born in 1805 and died in infancy and is buried at Rockaway. (Now there is a lot of other information but I don't think it is Cooper family data, at least not at this time.) The children of DAVID COOPER and his wife ANNA S. were: Hannah Emeline who was born Jun the rest of that data is missing. Children of JONATRHAN O. COOPER and his wife Hannah M. were: Harriet Anna born May 12, 1865 and Walter The children of JEREMIAH D> CDooper and wife Louisa were: Anna Maria born Dec. 18, 1861 who married William Beam on July 4, 1881.
