He married Catherine Stevens 20 Mar 1853 in Warren County, Indiana and they had four children, Mariah b.1854 Indiana, Hannah E. b.29 July 1856 Illinois, Jacob H. b.26 Oct 1858 Iowa and John W. b.05 Apr 1861 probably in Iowa also.
