Many people have reported Wollery to have had a son George b. about 1770/1771 in S. Branch,Augusta Co., VA (now W VA)to have died before 12-4-1826. I have sources that have George and son John (not brother John) migrating to northern NY via the path of: 1801 Kentucky, 1806 Piscataway OH, 1808 Madison Valley IL, and ending up purchasing 900 Ac. in Hale Brook Park area of Lewis NY. Another source, the book Whispering Mountains: A history of Lewis, NY, by Barbara Matthews and Marilyn Cross, now out of print has son George & son John migrating to NY, but his b. of 1809 in Agusta, VA???? does not fit the migration schedule previous! ly proposed. However, these graves ARE found in N. NY area: George Coonrod b. 1771 in S. Branch, Agusta, VA, d. 3-5-1844 Essex Co., NY b. in Deerhead Cemetery Lewis Twp, Essex Co., NY. next to wife "Hannah" b. 1782, d. 3-25-1856. Son John Coonrod b. 1809 Agusta, d. 7-15-1894, b. Deerhead Cemetery next to wife Isabella Smith b.7-25-1817 Jay, Essex Co., NY d. 1910. Husband John's death date is mentioned in her obit. How might this information fit with a George Coonrod also reported to be Woolrich's son b. about same year but dying "before 12-4-1826"???
