We have two particpants who have tested to 67 markers and one to 111 markers and one other who will be tested this next week to 67 markers. Any Coonrod / Conrod / Conrad Surnamed Male or someone who would like to sponsor a Conrad Surname Male and has at least some sort of paper trail to assist in the Surname Study are invited to participate. Participants should be willing to test to a minimum of 37 markers with 67 markers preferred. Please contact me for additional details by reply to this query. Your Reply will be sent through Ancestry.com. We hope to identify which Coonrod Clans are related and which ones are not related and collaborate on research to determine family origins in Europe. We are using familytreedna.com and currently under a collateral surname. Non-Coonrod/Conrad Surnames matching Y-DNA at some level so far include Conrad, Kunkel, Kungl, Gunckel, Phillips, and Kinney. We did NOT match Cunard at any level. The Cunard Surname has tested and is listed under their own surname group at familytreedna.com. We've had great success with two other surnames we've tested and looking forward to the same success with the Coonrod/Conrod/Conrad Surname.
