Coonrod. They had 2 sons, Franklin and Fletcher Coonrod. They were married @ 1853, lived in Daviess co, Ky. Louisa divorced Christopher (he was arrested for bigamy) and moved to madison co,Indiana. Not sure about the name Matilda unless Louisa had a middle name Matilda. You can find them on the 1860 Daviess co, Ky census. She's listed right below Solomon Evans(her brother). Maybe you are assuming that her parents had to die in order for her to have been adopted??? Wilhelminia went to live with her sister, Mildred Jane Coonrod, and Mildred's husband, Aaron W. Crowningshield, when she was very YOUNG because of family circumstances. She was formally adopted although Ben and Loretta were still ALIVE. On 10-10-1931, she married Claude J. Aubin.
