Indiana in finding this. I found our link of Lycrugus L. COOLY { 7 yrs. Male b. OH. ca. 1843} Lycrugus married ca.1868 my GG-Aunt {my G-grandfather's oldest sister} Catherine M. WOODWARD b. 1849 OH. now.. This line is very new for me with just recent contact of new found 3rd cousin and many clues and many missing pieces they supplied, so the new found 3rd Cousin's line is the oldest brother {T. E. WOODWARD b.1848 OH.} to Catherine and my g-grandfather {W.T.WOODWARD b. 1857 OH. as he was last child b. and raised to manhood by others in Iowa Now there's a wonderful story that can be told thanks to my 3rd cousin who accidentally found my old 1998 posting on a Roots.web forum board in Iowa, Yes these ROOTweb.com work.. Thanks to all who man these wonderful sites for our Genealogy efforts} Sorry for the soap box.. but I'm still on a cloud with my new found 3rd cousin help for my WOODWARD orphan not an orphan now.. Thanks Again Rootsweb.com one grand tool for our genealogy research effort nowdays... Well Abram C. and Rebecca COOLY COOLEY {Lycurgus's Parents} maybe be a help or clue I'm trying to find out where Lycurgus was born in Ohio as my WOODWARD's appear to be straight out of England just prior to finding them on 1850 Fed. Census Ohio Butler Co. Oxford Twp. {with very young children of TE 2yr , CM 1yr , JE 1 mo., and a Mary A. ROW 11 mo. tossed in to confuse things} very near to Connersville Fayette Co. Indiana.. I'm told its less then 20 miles apart.. Oxford and Connersville... Now the only other thing I know is my Links Lycurgus and Catherine {WOODWARD} COOLEY / COOLY lived their whole married life in Connersville IN. till their deaths and are buried there, but I have not found burial sites as Catherine parents {and my GG-grands} are suppose to be buried near by, per new found 3rd cousin grandmother's old notes and scrapbook. Thank goodness she was a clipper of news and saver of things.., she was niece to Catherine and Lycurgus COOLEY.. So, I'm hoping to dig out some answers as time and money allow as I'm on the West coast and it's a long hard dig back to Ohio, Indiana, Iowa not to mention England.. but glad to have something to dig at now as a wall is never any fun.. I hope you'll be able to use this data as a clue and maybe you can share back if anything develops out of this help with my COOLY / COOLEY lines.. If anyone on the COOLEY-L can offer lookup in Ohio, Indiana, N.Y or have lines lurking in N.Y prior to 1850's would like any assistance you can offer clue Hunches all welcome I always love a good chase LOL.. I would like to find Lycurgus's father's line Abram C. COOLY / COOLEY b. ca.1813 N.Y. and his mother and perhaps wife Rebecca's {b. ca.1818 NH.} maiden and Parent lines might be found in doing this. Well looking for all discussions on any of my post.. welcome to all suggestions and helping hearts with kindness of sharing being returned ten fold.... Good Luck to all that read.
