James PICKETT (1817-1902) and Belinda COOLEY (1823-1898) were married in 1840 in Athens Co, OH. In 1844, they along with Belinda's parents Asahel & Milly Cooley, moved to Keosauqua, Van Buren Co, IA . Their children were Asahel b.1842, Samuel b.1844, James b.1847, & Josephine b.1859. James Sr., Asahel, and James Jr. were all Civil War Vets. I would like to hear from anyone who has knowledge of this family.
