Just found that my Thomas J. Cooley was in the Civil War. He was born in Indiana about 1844 and probably enlisted in Illinois out of Arcola Twp., Douglas Co., Illinois. Pvt. B Company 154 Ill INF. Does anyone know any information about him or his unit, or where to find it? Thanks.
