Of Rives Junction, passed away September 20, 2001, at home under the care of Hospice and her loving daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Leslie Vinton, aged 77. Preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Overmyer; two sisters, Paula Still and Norma Perry; daughter-in-law, Vi Overmyer; brothers, Wilson Hamilton, Donald Hamilton and Herbert Hamilton; a grandson, Spencer Overmyer and her parents, Wilson Hamilton and Laura Fretenborough-Levi. Survived by 14 children, Pamela Lindstrom of Jackson, Donald Overmyer of Marquette, Terry (Jessie) Sanders of Morenci, Vicki Haydo of Gwinn, Laura (Leslie) Vinton of Rives Junction, Michael (Laura) Overmyer of Michigan Center, Gary Overmyer of Port Huron, Duane Overmyer of Jackson, Linda Overmyer of Rives Junction, Michelle Sanders of Georgia, Cheryl Burdick of Jackson, Shirley Prater of Jackson, Norman Overmyer of Jackson and David Overmyer of Rives Junction; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty (Vern) Love of Jackson, Louise (Jack) Lafnear of Pontiac and Phyllis Myus of Lapeer; two brothers, Elton (Earlene) Levi of Lapeer and Alvin Levi of Lapeer; several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge No. 612 in Jackson. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow service.
