After reading through it I realized that I have made a VERY VERY EMBARRASSING mistake! My Jacob Alfred isn't a Cooley at all!!! He is a DODSON who married a Cooley. Sarah Louella, daughter of William and Elizabeth Jones Cooley to be exact. I have had good ol' Jake on my mind for a while now, I guess and just jumped at the name Alfred. This must mean I'm on too many lists or really need to take a vacation from genealogy.
