Kathy, Thank you so much for the info, - I have copies of this book as well. I made many trips to the LDS library here in Santa Monica to the library where I found the Cooley book that you speak of. My only concern is that I cannot PROVE that my relative Frederick L. Cooley is a son of George and Lydia Cooley. I have found George living with his other son, Francis H. Cooley brn 1822 and he is suppose to be a twin to my ancestor Frederick. No proof yet. Anyway, my Frederick claims he was born in Mass in 1822 and I cannot find any records of this birth anywhere in any town or county of MASS.
