Jerlene, Do you have any approximate dates? The Cooley genealogy is a very big book and has several "Johns'" listed. I found an obituary notice for a Levi J. that lists two brothers, John B. and George P. of Brockport, NY. He died Nov. 21, 1934 The Cooley Genealogy book, I inherited from my grandmother, published in 1941. I believe there is a Cooley Family Association of America, at least there used to be as my grandmother belonged to it back in the 70's. Maybe someone on the list can help with an address and the possibility of obtaining the genealogy.
