Hi Mary, I'm sorry, I should have said Lasalle, Michigan, which must be very near Monroe, Mich. I've only just discovered these Cooley's about 2 weeks ago, so no idea really, where Louis and Matilda Cooley are from originally or where they migrated to, only that their daughter Una married my grandfather Chester Snavely in Bowling Green, Ohio and they were both apparently were born and died in Monroe, Mich. I have no idea about her parents at all.
