Reposting for the new year and new members. Searching for ancestors of John A. Cooley and Margaret Farrell, both born Ireland ca. 1800. First two children born in Ireland, Patrick ca 1828; John A. ca 1831. In New York City by 1833 where James, Bridget, Mary, Michael, Thomas and Andrew followed. Andrew a batchelor; Mary remained single. No knowledge of Bridget or James. Patrick, John, Michael, Thomas all raised their families in Manhattan and those children remained or headed a bit further north to the Dobbs Ferry, NY area. Glad to share with other researchers.
