Carl, Looking for documentation on the death for a Lovina Cooley. Have birth documentation for a 1/24/1794 birth in Springfield. Info that I have indicates she died after 1866 but no indication of where. She was married to Noah Alden on 9/4/1813 in the Springfield or Wilbraham area. (Parents were Clark Cooley b.10/1/1769 (undoc) and Lovina Billings Cooley of Springfield.) At least one of the children of Noah and Lovina (Cooley) Alden ended up in the East Hampton CT area. Making me think that they may have "migrated" south as well, as you indicated in your post. Would appreciate any comments you might have. Hello, It seems like everyoneon this List has COOLEYS in New England. How about VA? I have a Martha "Patsy" COOLEY, daughter of William, b. somewhere, I think, in VA. She m. Asael DAVIS, Jr. in Garrard Co., KY in the late 1700's. Does anyone know anything about this family?
