Does anyone have any information on a McCarver that left Missouri about 1880 and when he got to Clifton, Wayne County, Tennessee, he had started using the name of Cooley? This was because after a gunfight the law was going to hang his brother and he thought he would be next, if caught. Does anyone know of the brother that was hung around 1880.
