I am posting my group again in case any New York City Cooley's show up looking for their ancestors. John A. Cooley and Margaret Farrell Cooley - in NYC in 1850; he is a butcher Sons: Patrick, John, James, Michael, Thomas, Andrew Daughters: Bridget and Mary - maybe a Margaret we don't know about They all remained in the New York City area through the 1900s - various boros and occasional move north to Westchester County. Additionally, I have reams of information on this name in the NYC area should the above not be exactly what you are looking for I still might have some info.
