    3. This sure is strange. I've got three of the surnames you mention but in two separate lines of my family. The Cooley name is on my Mom's line while Turner and Hardy are on my Dad's line. Dad's line joins with Turner in 1864 when Spencer Hardy (my ggf) married Sarah Angeline Turner in Iowa. My mother's maternal line is Cooley and goes through Alice Nettie Cooley, James Alvin Cooley, Miller Wisdom Cooley, James Alvin Cooley, Daniel Cooley, John Cooley, Lambert Cooley to William Cooley b. in 1694. Does any of this sound familiar?
