Hello list Please correct the data on Laura Ann Cooley b.1869 dau.of Martin V.B.Cooley b.1841 & Sarah Martin-Cooley. I have seen on several list and in the book Who Married Whom of Wayne CO.MS.that Laura Ann Cooley b.1875 m.B.Columbus Clark in 1890. That is NOT the dau.of Martin & Sarah Cooley. My Laura Ann Cooley b.1869 m.Joseph S..Stevens Nov.21,1888 Wayne CO.MS.marriage license gives middle initial as L.1900 census Wayne Co.list middle initial as S. said they have been m.11 years 7 children born 6 living. I seen a letter from Laura to her sister (my gr.grandmother Roxie) dated 1937 she and Joe were living in Valley MS.still married to Joseph Stevens.I have their children if any one is interested.
