What area and time frame are you talking about. I can only find my COOLEY line in Tennessee/Alabama but again I haven't gotten past my great-grandfather. My mother was Jerusha COOLEY GRIDER born in Alabama, her father was James William COOLEY born in Tennessee and his father was Jesse COOLEY born I think in Tn. but not sure. Jesse was married to a Martha COOLEY also born in Tn. Regina Fellow Listers, My Great Grandfather was Matthew Cooley. My Mathew Cooley married Elizabeth Smith. =
