    1. [Cooley] COOLEY, Thomas Todd
    2. Karen
    3. Hello All. My name is Karen and I live in Tasmania, Australia. This is my first submission to this list. I am interested in tracing descendents of Thomas Todd Cooley who was born in 1801 in the U.K...possibly Middlesex. On 14th May, 1823 he was tried for stealing "plate" and was sentenced to be transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) for Life. He arrived in VDL aboard the "Chapman" on 27th July, 1824. On 30th May, 1836 he married Margaret Patterson at Trinity Parish Church in Hobart. Their offspring were Sarah Morris Cooley, Elizabeth Allen Cooley, Thomas Charles Cooley, John Todd Cooley, Charles Morris Cooley and Margaret Martha Marion Cooley. Thomas Charles Cooley is my g.g.grandfather. He married Susanna(h) Allwright in 1862, and believe he married Augusta Chapman after Susanna(h)'s death and had several more children. I would like to hear from anyone who has any knowledge of, or is connected to, any of the above. With thanks, Karen.

PLEASE be sure your VIrus Software is updated. This is not a ROOTSWEB.COM problem as This virus came into our List members via mail sent to a Lister and then the Virus take the addy of the Lister List members found in the Lister's address Book then sends it to all of them on list member or just whatever is in this infected persons addy Book everyone they receive mail from. The infected poor souls e-mail program takes the e-mail that has not been read as yet.. I think I got it straight or how it works.. get some protection in your software for Virus.... REMEMBER DON"T OPEN ATTACHMENTS in fact I don't open ANY Attachment NEVER EVER even if I know that person and I always tell others don't send me attachments I don't open I put them in to the trash and delete {end of story} Send it snail or Fax either or however you can but don't use attachments.. So if you think that someone is sending you a cute little something in an attachment well it just might be cute real cute and will cost you more in time and money then you could ever image.... not to mention lost data.. SUE's computer is sending out attachments and they're a VIRUS.. Sue's probably now aware of this by now.. I'm sure others have sent some not so nice notes or maybe some nice ones I sure hope so. : >} I'm sure everyone is aware of these PLEASE to take care of a virus problem Try this url: http://housecall.antivirus.com/ I know Sue is not sending me any mail but Her puter is with this Virus's Help. contact your Provider maybe they can help you [Sue] with some support about this if your clueless...
