    3. Hello Warren and, indeed, all of the Cooley list! I have a John Cooley, born about 1569 in Padbury England. is this the one you have? He is my 9th Great Grandfather. Another interesting point is that, more closely my Great Great Grandfather was Warren Cooley. Hmmmmm. His son also had a son named Warren. He was born in 1891 in Kansas. Any relation? Thanks sooooooo much in advance, Carl __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Send FREE video emails in Yahoo! Mail! http://promo.yahoo.com/videomail/

    3. Hi Warren I have a little info on the Samuel Coley (Cooley) that married Ann Prudden and lived in the Fairfield CT area in the mid 1600's. I only have what I have found on the net and have not done any research or verification of the info, because I have not found a tie to my line as yet. 3. Hello Keith, I have a Mary Butler who married Isaac Miner about 1758. I know this isnt your Mary but its interesting that the Miners and the Cooleys both migrated along similar lines from Connecticut to the Western Reserve and beyond. The Butler name shows up often in these early migrations too. I wonder if your Mary is a neice of my Mary Butler? It seems every generation of these families recycled names. I just thought I would throw this out to you. Thanks soooo much, Carl __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Send FREE video emails in Yahoo! 2. Love is the answer
    3. Dear List Members, It is that time of year again when we suddenly will have an influx of new online genealogy enthusiasts with their holiday gift computers that are usually newer and faster than what many of the rest of us have. For a great many of them, it will be their first time online. Some of them will make mistakes and some may (will) unintentionally do things and write things that may be irritating to us and against what we have set up as our list rules. Please take this into consideration in advance and be helpful to them. If things get out of hand, know that I am behind the scenes taking care of the problems. Just remember, one of these new members might hold the clue you have been searching for. Let us not discourage them before they have a chance to learn how this works. Also, belatedly, for those who know me as Karen Blunk...I was remarried last year to my high school sweetheart. It's been a wonderful couple of years for me, and I hope your lives are rich and full as well! I wish each of you and yours a wonderful and safe Holiday Season.
