There was some discussion of this on the list last year, so I'm making this one-time post about our group trip to Salt Lake's Family History Library. Our annual trip has us in Salt Lake 23-30 May 2012. You can arrive however, you like, however a small group of us are riding the California Zephyr out and back as part of our self-made trip arrangements. The Zephyr departs from Chicago, however, given where I live, I am boarding the train in Galesburg, IL about two hours outside of Chicago. If you've ever wanted to go to Salt Lake, wanted to take the train, but did't want to go by yourself, this might be a good opportunity. The train does arrive late in Salt Lake, but we'd arrive as a group and get to the hotel together. The train departs EARLY in the morning, but we would all go to the station as a group. So if those arrival/departure times were a concern, you will not be by yourself.
